ABOUT

Reperkusound Festival

Eurotoire Circuit (EUCT) is a co-creation, circulation and capacity building programme connecting emerging artists from Cyprus, Portugal and France. The main objectives are to boost the artistic skills and professional capacity of the participants in order to collaborate beyond their borders, and to develop their entrepreneurship to form a just and resilient level playing field in the European music market.

Divided into three main pillars - Capacity Building, Artistic & Creative Expression and Communication & Dissemination - EUCT will consist of a series of at-venue masterclasses in each country instructed by industry professionals who will provide artistic guidance and training on topics related to music business, marketing, royalties and more. The masterclasses will be followed by sessions in Cyprus and Portugal where selected participants will co-create, produce, and record music from scratch. The project will result in an album which will aim to form new synergies, develop the artists’ and partners’ networks, grow their audience and promote EUCT’s actions on a transnational level. Furthermore, the co-created album will be performed and presented live in major events and festivals in all three participating countries.

EUCT tackles gender inequality amongst other challenges in the European music sector and is designed to celebrate the true diversity of the European repertoire, as it gives a platform to emerging artists, equipping them with skills to promote cross-border collaboration and diversification.
