Michelle Carrasco (France)
Michelle Carrasco, programmer within iconic festivals such as Ozora (Hu) and Hadra Trance Festival (Fr), and an active member of the Parasites collective (Fr), has been weaving a network for several years, pushing the boundaries between the alternative and the conventional. French of Chilean origin, her journey began with the creation of events in Brittany (Fr), Chile, and as a tour manager for a Chilean band for their European tour two years in a row.
In these early years, her commitment took shape around a mission: to build bridges between Latin America and Europe, propelling hybrid electro-acoustic compositions that blend influences from around the world with traditional rhythms. This subsequently led her to co-create stages for emerging artists at the heart of the Ozora Festival in 2018 and the Hadra Festival in 2022.
In parallel to this project, she thrives as a circus artist and visual performer (VJ), infusing a unique creativity into her work as an event organizer and programmer. Her artistic experience is shaped by several years of practice and a one-year tour with Fakear as a VJ, covering 35 festivals and SMAC venues.
Recently invited by the Glaz Musik delegation to the TransMusicales 2023 (Dec.), she is now strengthening her ties as a programmer with Breton structures (booking agencies, labels) and international entities (festivals, concert halls).
