Ricardo Martins (Portugal)

Ricardo initially made waves as the dynamic drummer for esteemed acts such as Adorno, Lobster, Cangarra, and a host of Portugal's most celebrated bands. Quickly winning over fans and earning widespread respect, he has become one of the most in-demand drummers across the vibrant Portuguese music scene. Presently, Ricardo plays in Pop Dell'Arte, Jibóia, Chão Maior, Papaya, ALGUMACENA, Deriva, Leonor Arnaut + Ricardo Martins, Sangue Suor, Ligadura and Tormenta. He is also composing for different groups with the project Silvar. Amidst his bustling career, Ricardo miraculously found time for his latest solo endeavour, "Distraimento," a full-length album that redefines the mesmerizing power of drumming. His work showcases his technical prowess and his deep emotional connection to music, making drums resonate in ways never heard before.
