EUROTOIRE: EQUALISER

OPEN CALL: Producer-Songwriters | Music Media Professionals

[Applications are now closed]

Eurotoire: Equaliser (EU:EQ)  is a capacity-building programme and songwriting and production camp matching emerging producer-songwriters of underrepresented genders from underrepresented regions in Europe with emerging music media professionals. EU:EQ is an action awarded by MusicAIRE (An Innovative Recovery for Europe), co-funded by the European Union under the 2020 Annual work programme for the implementation of the “Preparatory Action – Music Moves Europe: Boosting European music diversity and talent”, and managed by the consortium to which the grant was attributed, composed of INOVA+ and the European Music Council (EMC).

EU:EQ aims to boost the artistic network and professional capacity of artists of underrepresented genders from underrepresented regions and music media professionals, to form a level playing field in the European music market.

EU:EQ focuses on directly creating professional networks for artists of underrepresented gender from European countries which either before or during the pandemic suffer from low music support architectures such as minimal or no governmental music export funding opportunities.

Participants will benefit from cross-cultural collaboration to empower all participants with a network to access beyond the project and celebrate what diverse European repertoire truly sounds like. We’re building a dream team of six emerging producer-songwriters and six emerging music media professionals!
